Erica Kristin Zappettini
Erica discovered her love for movement at the age of five when she started her first gymnastics class. She competed in gymnastics for ten years until high school when she joined competitive co-ed cheerleading team. In the four years of competitive cheering,
they won two state championships and nationals three years in a row.

After all the team sports growing up, Erica knew she needed to stay active in college, and began teaching group fitness at the local gym, which included, Mat Pilates. She was so intrigued by Pilates and what it did for her body and her students, that after college, she decided to get comprehensively certified in Classical Pilates. In 2005, she founded The Pilates Society with the mission of providing the highest level of Classical Pilates instruction in the Scottsdale area.

She is dedicated to maintaining the original integrity of Joseph Pilates' work by teaching True Classical Pilates. Erica specializes in functional strength, flexibility, and injury prevention while incorporating modifications for clients with special needs.
